Made in New Zealand The art of craft and design

On Tuesday 21 October Studio Rene Jansen took part in an exhibition held at The Grey,s Place in Ponsonby.

Initiated By Lyzadie of Lyzadie Design Studio seven Furniture makers were asked to participate in this event.

My contribution consisted of a desk and chair that are part of my aero furniture range, a sculpture and a newly made screen devider.

The exhibition was hosted by Jade Bentley who owns  Art Associates.

It was interesting to see the variety of work on display, a diverse range of furniture and objects.

There was a great sense pride amongst the artisans and it was all well received by the audience.

Thanks Lyzadie and Jade for all the hard work that goes into making an event like this happen.

The idea is to do this on a yearly basis to give furniture makers and designers a platform to show their talent.
